It is with deep gratitude that we add this bench to honor Mr. Don Geisler. Don was an Eau Claire graduate. He served on our School Board for many years, most recently as President. Mr. Geisler's leadership helped build systems and supports in our district. He believed in the greatness of our staff and students, and his kindness made each person he interacted with sure that they belong here. Beavers BUILD! Beavers BELONG! Beavers BELIEVE! Go Beavers!

Our Beaver Pride Assembly today was also the culmination of our Worlds of Music with Mr. Guy! What a great week we've had, learning about kindness, gratitude, lots of different instruments and cultures! Thank you to Ms. Miller for helping to make this grant possible, for our kids! Beavers BUILD! Beavers BELONG! Beavers BELIEVE! Go Beavers!

Today at Lybrook, we celebrated our September Students of the Month with a breakfast! These students were chosen because they are respectful, responsible, show integrity, and do their best. These students are leading their peers as we start this school year, modeling Beaver Pride every day! We also celebrated our weekly Beaver Pride students - these students' names were drawn out of their classroom bucket of Beaver Bucks, earned by showing Beaver Pride throughout the school. Way to go, students! Keep up the great work! Beavers BUILD! Beavers BELONG! Beavers BELIEVE! Go Beavers!

Our initial response to the situation at the soccer game was a fast and efficient response to keep people safe. After the fact, it was discovered that no real guns were ever present and no one was ever in danger. Thanks for your understanding in these tense situations. GO BEAVERS!!

Just FYI, we've received a report of an individual with a gun at tonight’s soccer game. Attendees were evacuated to Lybrook. Police have apprehended the individual, attendees have been released, and the game has resumed. Please continue to be safe and vigilant. GO BEAVERS!!

Today was the first Berrien RESA Parents as Teachers Playgroup! Around 20 kids came with their adult to have some fun at the SAC. This is a wonderful chance for our youngest kids to interact with others and gain some before-they-get-to-school skills. The next play group is Friday, October 16th at 10am! Yesterday, students at Lybrook and around the country celebrated Constitution Day by learning about the US Constitution. Every class had lessons and activities that helped our student gain understanding about our country. The third graders even participated in a nationwide mock trial! Learning is so much fun! Beavers BUILD! Beavers BELONG! Beavers BELIEVE! Go Beavers!

The Eau Claire Administration Team spend the day in BTAM training with the Berrien County Sheriff's Department. This training helps equip us to keep all staff and students as safe as possible in all situations. Later in the month, our Mental Health & Behavior Support Team will have the same training. Beavers BUILD! Beavers BELONG! Beavers BELIEVE! Go Beavers!

Last night's Homecoming win against Muskegon Heights included an AMAZING play by Melvin Davis Jr. that has made the ESPN Top 10 (the #1 play). GO BEAVERS!!!!!!
