Today was our 2nd quarter PBIS Day at the Middle High School. Students participated in festive activities after an engaging assembly, celebrating positive behaviors! A few brave staff members even took a pie to the face! Beavers BUILD, Beavers BELIEVE and Beavers BELONG!!! 🦫
As required by the Michigan State School Aid Act, Section 164k, we are providing notice of a survey that will be administered to middle school and high school students tomorrow (Friday, December 12th). The Michigan State School Aid Act requires that we "ensure that student survey questions and results are made available to the public, posted on the district's website, and that parents and legal guardians are notified of the survey." Lybrook students enjoyed a visit from our Superintendent last week as she read "How to Catch a Snowman" to our DK-2nd grade students and "The Invisible Boy" to our 3rd-5th graders, as we continue to seek to develop a culture of belonging for all.

Eau Claire Schools have Early Dismissal Today
Due to broken pipes and flooding, the district must shut off water to the boilers, which will cause heating issues. Repairs are expected to take most of the day.
Students will be dismissed today on the half-day schedule
Buses will run on the normal half-day schedule
Thank you for your understanding as we address this unexpected situation. Student safety and comfort remain our top priority.

This Friday (12/5/25) the Varsity Boys Basketball game vs Countryside (@ ECHS) will begin at 6:00 PM.
Countryside does not have a JV boys team at this point. The varsity game will start earlier @ 6:00 PM.
The Girls Varsity Basketball team's first game is Monday (12/8/25) @ Bangor with a 7:30 start time.

The Middle School Boys Basketball vs Our Lady of the Lake(OLL) that was scheduled for 12/1/25 was cancelled and has been rescheduled. ECMS will play OLL @ ECHS on 12/2/25 with a start time of 5:00 PM.
