A big thank you to all of our those who came yesterday to present for Career Day! We had firefighters, the Bomb Squad, Animal Control and K9 Unit. We had Dr. Jessica from Garret Veterinary Clinic, Angie Fee speaking to us both about her job as a Worship Leader at First Church of God as well as her work as a realtor. The Director of Eau Claire District Library joined us, officers from the DNR, and Laura - the Parent Outreach Coordinator at Berrien RESA. We learned about being a missionary and a caretaker - and Darcy from Corewell Health talked to us about nursing and training nurses. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about a variety of career options for our students! We love partnering with our community to give our students amazing experiences! Go Beavers!

Due to an active water main break at Lybrook Elementary, we will be dismissing MSHS at 9:00 and Lybrook at 9:15 a.m. While we had hoped to continue the school day with temporary measures, the situation requires us to close the building for the safety and comfort of our students and staff. All students have received breakfast this morning and will be sent home with a lunch. Staff are assisting with a smooth and safe dismissal process. Please make arrangements to pick up your child or ensure someone is available at home if they ride the bus. If your child’s transportation or dismissal plan has changed, contact the office as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we respond to this unexpected issue. We will provide updates as we learn more about the repair timeline and plans for tomorrow.
