It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of Sherry Jannert, a long-time member of our kitchen staff who retired last spring. Services have been arranged at the Clark Chapel of the Starks Family Funeral Homes in Dowagiac.

First graders are working hard at learning how to make ten! Beavers BUILD! Beavers BELONG! Beavers BELIEVE! Go Beavers!

Second graders have been learning about mythology in CKLA so when 5th graders came for buddy time, they worked together to disguise turkeys as Greek gods (hoping to avoid the dinner table!) Beavers BUILD! Beavers BELONG! Beavers BELIEVE! Go Beavers!

We currently have the following registration numbers for each team:
• 3rd/4th Grade Girls Basketball: 0
• 3rd/4th Grade Boys Basketball: 3
• 5th Grade Girls Basketball: 2
• 5th Grade Boys Basketball: 1

I need to inform the league during the first week of December whether we will have teams for each age group so they can finalize the schedule.

📢 It is extremely important that anyone planning to play is registered by the end of November.

If your child intends to participate, please complete their registration as soon as possible so we can form our teams.

100% Cocoa! Thank you, again, to Mr. Cardew from 4-H/MSU Extension. Our trip around the world today, learning about the origin of cocoa and all the places it's currently made, was a lot of fun! The taste-testing was awesome, too! Beavers building belonging and belief! Go Beavers!

Good morning Eau Claire families. Due to inclement weather Eau Claire Schools are closed today, November 10th. Stay safe and warm!

Beaver nation, be proud! Your hometown Beavertronics robotics team competed in their very first competition. These kids were amazing and did our school proud. They finished the day with 2 wins and 3 losses; however, each of their losses were by less than 10 points. They finished 14th out of 26th and got a 2nd place recognition for the Think Award, based on the judges' interview, presentation, and portfolio. This is not an award a rookie team gets. These seven students are proving that although we are small, we are mighty. A huge thank you to all our sponsors for making this happen!

Robotics lunchtime update: the team won the first match, lost the 2nd by one point and is currently 15th in the standings. Keep up the great work, Beavertronics, building, believing and belonging!!!
