Good morning Lybrook families! We had a bus/deer situation this morning. Everyone is fine but Ms Chery's bus will now be picked up by Pasqual late this morning. Thank you for your patience!

Preschool & Kindergarten Round Up is one week from today! Tell all your friends and come see us on April 24, 4-5:30!
It's a great day to be a Beaver!
Go Beavers!

Students across the state have been busy taking the MSTEP. In preparation for the big day, we read Hooray for Diffendoofer Day by Dr. Seuss and talked about the anxiety that standardized testing can bring.
Our students are going to do a great job showing how much they know!

Last night Eau Claire hosted the first BCS conference track meet. The boys' and girls' teams showed great effort and results. The boys' team dominated the events and won their first conference meet with 171 points. A lot of those points came from getting first place in every relay event, along with first-place victories in shot put and discus. Jovany Rayas broke Eau Claire's discus record. The previous record was 139 ft 10 in. Jovany threw 142 ft 3 in. This record hasn’t been broken since 1991! Keep showing your support to the Eau Claire track team as they continue to succeed, and once again, congratulations to Jovany Raya, Eau Claire’s newest record holder!

Eau Claire Girls Soccer earned a hard-fought victory in a physical contest at Covert on Wednesday. The Game winning goal was scored by Sophomore Emily Reyes, with an assist by Senior Brandy Meraz-Renteria to seal the 1-0 win, making them 2-0 in conference play. The Beavers look to extend their winning streak today to 3 as they take on Watervliet in their home opener. Jv starts at 5, and Varsity plays at 6:30!

Lady Beavers fought hard with some hard hitting, as well as with some great pitching. The scores were Beaver's 1, Michigan Lutheran 11 in both games.

Good afternoon, Due to a sporting event Miss Robin's students will be split between Miss Chery and Miss Darcy's buses so their drop off times will be different from normal.

CONGRATULATIONS, Ms. Keesha! EC MS/HS Staff Member of the Week.

Eau Claire Girls soccer got their first win of the season in a 2-1 win over the Raiders at New Buffalo on Monday night. They were led by a strong performance from Senior Brandy Meraz-Renteria with a goal in each half of play. She was assisted on her second goal by freshman Estrella Castillo-Leon. The Beavers look to add another win to their record on Wednesday at Covert before hosting their first home game of the season on Thursday against Watervliet.

Our 1st, 4th, and 5th graders attended the gymnastics show "Unexpected" at Andrews University. It was so much fun - everyone returned to school full of smiles from such a fun experience! Some of our students even got to participate as volunteers! Thank you to Lybrook PTO for providing transportation to this event!

Fourth graders have been working on building fluency with Reader's Theater and today they performed for their peers. They were absolutely fantastic! Ms. Lora worked with them on expression, fluency, projecting their voices, and having confidence in their reading. Keep up the great work!
