The Cross Country team traveled to New Buffalo for their invitational. Our middle school team participated in the race. Newcomer Alexander Lopez-Garcia ran a time of 13.57 and newcomer Hayden Galaviz ran a time of 15.38. Returning middle school runner Yaretzi Capula battled through knee troubles, and finished with a time of 18.32.
Our girl runners include Lucero Garcia-Lopez running a time of 40.06. Sandra Alavraz dropped a minute from her time with a new personal record of 27.37. Yuri Ramirez dropped a few minutes from her previous race and finished with a new personal record of 27.39.
Our guy runners include Alejandro Lemus running a time of 21.40. Returning runner Dilan Vargas ran a time of 21.52, and returning runner Kevin Vargas ran a time of 22.20. Jacob Daniel finished ran a season best of 23.43, and Josiah Ntongai ran a season best of 30.43.

Hello E.C. families, Just a friendly reminder that students and siblings need to be outside at their bus stop, not in the house, 5 minutes before the bus comes. We are making other stops late, holding up traffic and getting to school late for breakfast. The drivers can not wait at each stop 5 to 7 minutes. Thank you in advance for your help and understanding in this matter.
What a wonderful Back to School Night in Eau Claire! We were all so happy to see everyone and can't wait to get a fantastic new year started! The crowd at the Middle School/High School was so big, we didn't have time to take pictures!

In the past week, the Eau Claire Cross Country team ran in two races. First, the team went to the Jim Carey Early Bird race at Lawrence. For the girls, we had newcomer Sandra Alvarez running a time of 28.44, returning runner Yuri Ramirez running a time of 29.20, and newcomer Lucero Lopez, coming in with a time of 43.11. For the guys, we had newcomer Alejandro Lemus, who ran a 21.58, returning runner Jacob Daniel, who ran a 26.18, and returning runner Josiah Ntongai ran a 33.43.
Just a few days after the Early Bird race, the team traveled to Bridgman to race at their invitational. In the girls' race, Sandra Alvarez medaled with a time of 28.45, Yuri Ramirez also medaled with a time of 29.27, and Lucero Lopez dropped six and a half minutes from her time with a new record of 37.05. For the guys, Alejandro Lemus medaled with a new personal record of 21.19, Jacob Daniel ran a time of 24.51, and Josiah Ntongai ran a time of 32.07.
With a week of practice and two races under their belts, the Cross Country team is showing improving times, and we will continue to see that as the season goes on!

Today the Eau Claire administrative team met with Dr. Jim Van Allan after reading The Energy Bus for Schools. This books is full of strategies to improve school culture by removing negativity, energizing teachers, and empowering students.

Our Transportation Department webpage has new information for riders and their families. Head over to eauclaireps.com/page/transportation for the new Riders Handbook for the 25-26 school year, and School of Choice families can read the new SOC Information Letter. GO BEAVERS!
The elemtary school athletic department is finalizing teams for the fall sports programs. Interested participants are encouraged to register on the TeamLinkt website. There are current openings for a Majors Football Coach for 5th and 6th graders, and a Flag Football Coach for 1st and 2nd graders. Additionally, a few more players are needed for the 5th and 6th grade Volleyball team and the Minors Football team for 3rd and 4th graders, as well as our Flag team; all sports are co-ed.
