Fourth grade celebrated the end of unit one, personal narratives with centers, all revolving around polio - we about a young girl fighting Polio. In one center we made milkshakes because that was part of how our character got nourishment during her hospital stay. We read about how they did physical therapy by transferring marbles with their toes, so we practiced that. Finally, we played Candyland because the creator of Candyland was also diagnosed with polio.

Good morning, the varsity volleyball team has one home game left this coming Monday, October 20th at 6:00. It will be our pink out game in honor of those who have passed, have overcome and are currently fighting breast cancer. Come out and support our ladies and support the cause!!

Maddy Baker brought home the MIHA 6th place division D championship this week at STATE! She competed in 15 classes and had to learn 11 patterns. She competed in western fitting and showmanship, hunt seat fitting and showmanship, saddle seat fitting and showmanship, saddle seat equitation, saddle seat bareback equitation, saddle seat pattern, trail, ranch, western horsemanship, western horsemanship bareback, hunt seat equitation, hunt seat bareback equitation, speed and action, barrels, and flags.
